Walter Becker Signature Model

Walter Beck of Steely Dan started visiting the Sadowsky shop in the early 90’s. The first instrument he bought was a candy-apple-red Strat with a rosewood board. He used it on the first Steely Dan tour around ’92. This eventually led to the Walter Becker Model in the mid-2000’s. It features custom Lollar P-90 pickups, spalted maple top and swamp ash body. The pickups are wired for hum-canceling output in the neck/middle and middle/bridge settings. The third knob has a push/pull feature that activates the neck/bridge combination with the 5-way switch in either the neck or bridge positions."
