NYC Basses Information
The most effective way to search for information on NYC Custom instruments made in recent years:

- Open the menu (top right of every page).
- Use the search box at the top to enter the serial number.
Japanese Metro Bass Specifications
A quick guide to the specs on most Japanese Metro Basses:
- Maple Fingerboard: Swamp ash body
- Morado Fingerboard: Alder body
- MetroLine: Solid body
- MetroExpress: Chambered body
All Japanese Metro basses are equipped with Sadowsky hum-canceling pickups and the same Sadowsky preamp and bridge used in NYC basses.
