The Sadowsky S-Style Guitar

This is more than just another S-Style guitar! Our range of NYC guitars reflects decades of experience serving the finest professional musicians in New York and around the world. In the early 1980s, with a heated vintage market increasingly pushing guitars and basses out of reach for working musicians, Roger Sadowsky realized that it would make more sense to simply build an instrument from scratch that incorporated everything great that he had observed about instruments on his bench. For musicians who are anxious about taking their vintage instrument onto the road or into the studio, but still want the tone and feel of their favorite guitar.

STANDARD S-STYLE: Classic body shape, undersized for comfort. No pickguard, rear mounted controls. Usually built with exotic wood tops.

VINTAGE S-STYLE: Classic body shape, undersized for comfort. Traditional pickguard and top jack.

"...if having tons of sounds at your fingertips is important, this 6-string equivalent of the Swiss Army Knife with its top-tier build and playability is a winner."

"...definitely a workingman's axe designed for versatile players who need one guitar that can produce any tone on demand."
