Onboard Preamp Only?

I recently bypassed my Walter Woods Ultra preamp section and now only use it's power section. I've been tone shaping from the onboard Sadowsky preamp only. Now my bass tone is up full 100% and treble tone up 25% (used to leave both flat but engaged).

Has anyone has any issues with running the onboard preamp this hard?

Battery running out early, ect.?

Not yet, I'm sure I'll get a bunch of odd looks from sound guys. I should mention that I take a direct out into a personal monitor system for my in ears. The tone shaping sounds great in my "in ears" it also sounds great out of my cab. Most gigs I do are byo PA kinda gigs where I don't go through any foh at all.

I usually boost both about 50% with no issues.  I've done 100%, but it's just more top end than I need and the bass sounds good and thick, but I just leave my on-board at about 50% boost to both the bass and treble and never had a problem with FoH.
