Pickguard for NYC Sadowsky

I am the EXTREMELY excited owner of a pre-owned NYC Sadowsky Reverse PJ5 in caramel burst, maple neck with a vintage white pickguard. I just bought it. It isn't even to me as of yet. But I was browsing the Sadowsky site today and ran across another bass of the same color combo with a tortoise PG. It looked AMAZING!!!

I want a tort PG for mine!!!! Does anyone know if I can get this from Sadowsky or would I have to send a tracing to a place like WD music?

In order to make a replacement pickguard, we need you to send us your current one.  Unfortunately, we have tweaked and changed our pickguards several times over the years.  If we are able to replace your guard from our current patterns, the cost is $75.  If we have to copy your guard and hand make a replacement from scratch, the cost is $150.00.

Sending your guard to WD or Pickguard Heaven (Chandler) are additional options.

I got a replacement made by Jeannie's Pickguards as I really like their kind of reddish tort.
I sent in the original guard and they cut a new from the original.

I have ordered a PG from Pickguard Heaven. They were very helpful on the phone and have some experience with making Sadowsky pickguards. I am looking forward to getting it.
