sorry for the immensely late review. I totally agree with Chasarms. I mainly use a POD for live, but in rehearsals when not using my Sads I use the Sadowsky pre pedal straight into a FOH powered speaker. Or at gigs when I only need simple sounds the pre pedal works great. I doubt I would use it in a studio, but I know it's not designed for that. Again - in agreement with Chasarms, I would love to see a rackmounted, beefed up version. Something on the lines of the Sansamp. But the pedal as it is, I find very usable, very simple, extremely well made and it carries a good reputation.
